Privacy notice for the AI Readiness Score
Version 2026-08-26.1
Who this notice is from
Nielsen & Brown Ltd is the data controller for the information you give through the AI Readiness Score. Write to privacy@nielsenandbrown.com about anything on this page.
What we collect
Your name, job title, work email address, company name, sector, headcount band and turnover band, the systems you tell us you use, and your answers to the thirty two assessment questions. We record the country your request came from, and we do not store your IP address.
Why we can use it
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you asked us for a readiness report, and producing it and sending it to you is what we do with the answers. Marketing consent is asked for separately, is never a condition of the report, and in this version of the service is not acted on at all.
Who reads it
A named Nielsen & Brown consultant reads every set of answers and every report before it is sent. Your answers are processed by our AI provider to draft the report; they are not used to train anybody's model. Nobody outside Nielsen & Brown receives your answers.
Where it is held
In the United Kingdom, on Google Cloud infrastructure in the London region. Reports are held in private storage with no public access, and any link we generate expires.
How long we keep it
Twenty four months from our last contact with you, after which your submission, your record and every version of your report are deleted.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to privacy@nielsenandbrown.com and we will handle it by hand. There is no self-service deletion form, deliberately: a form keyed on an email address anybody could type is a way to delete somebody else's record.
Complaints
If we have not put something right, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
